December, 2017

On October 30, we had an outstanding opportunity to play for a packed, exuberant house, opening for The Victor Wooten Trio at Headliners in Louisville, KY. In early November, we were pleased to release our new live promo video, a key component of our plan to get on the road in 2018. We also enjoyed fantastic, and greatly appreciated, press in the form of a feature interview / article by Walter Tunis on Kentucky.com, and in the print edition of Weekender in the Lexington Herald-Leader:

What a wild, incredible audience at our SOLD OUT show at The Burl on Nov. 11! We couldn't wait to return to that room for a children's benefit concert with several great acts on December 1. We will funk Willie's Locally Known on New Year's Eve and be releasing our newest single and accompanying video in early 2018!

Great press the last couple months! Chuck Clenney sat down with Joslyn for an interview about the roots of the group and plans for the rest of the year. It is part of Lexington Community Radio's "Bluegrass Bios" series, and can be heard here:

A fun show at Willie's Locally Known was reviewed, and an interview with Joslyn was included, in UnderMain's Scene&Heard column. Thanks to Cara Blake Coppola and Tom Martin!

This has been a tremendous summer for us! Walter Tunis of Lexington Herald-Leader / Kentucky.com wrote a nice review of our opening set for Nicole Atkins at The Burl on July 20.

We released our 2nd single, "Sunday Driver," on August 8, and enjoyed several great shows, including Crave Lexington Festival and Lexington Roots & Heritage Festival. We've got many interesting things brewing for the fall- stay tuned!

June, 2017

Our 1st single, "Love On The Double," and its accompanying video, were released on May 1st. The great reaction from everybody has us really pumped for future releases! An amazing, energetic crowd turned out for our May 20th show at The Burl, and we shot a live video that night that's being mixed and edited now. Two 1st-year events, The Tahlsound Festival and The Bluegrass BBQ Fest, were outstanding productions and a blast to play. We were also pleased to be part of the June 25th benefit for The Lyric Theater & Cultural Arts Center. Continued support from WUKY 91.3 and Louisville's WCHQ 100.9 is much appreciated!

April, 2017

Thanks to Gary Sampson for featuring us in the February 24th broadcast of WCHQ 100.9 FM's Kentuckiana Blues Radio Show. Although our music doesn't really fit their blues format, their dedication to promoting area artists led them to include us anyway!

Kendra Lynn Portwood and the folks at Kentucky Music Preview showed us some love on their December 27th podcast. Besides playing music from our upcoming album, they gave a great plug for our New Year's Eve show at The Burl.
